TVS Sponsor AFC Bolton Under 14 Girls

We are proud to announce that we are the AFC Bolton Under 14 Girls new kit sponsor for the seasons 2019 – 2021.

The Under 14 Girls Team have only been formed since the start of the 2017 / 2018 Season with some of the Squad having never played for a competitive Club football before.  The team were entered into the North Valley & Burnley Unity League, which covers a large area of Lancashire, bringing the challenge of playing against teams from Bolton, Bury, Blackburn, Chorley, Euxton, Preston, Burnley, Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Fleetwood and the surrounding areas.

The first season was a case of getting used to one another, learning play style and adjusting to the rigours of competitive football at a high standard. The Girls dealt with the challenge really well and finished in an incredible 4th position in the League. The second season was something very special as the girls got off to a flying start, winning games and playing some really good entertaining football. This culminated in them being crowned League Champions and also getting to the Semi Final of the League Cup where they lost out to the eventual winners. A remarkable achievement seeing as they have only been together for 2 years.

This Season will pose another challenge for the squad as they will face teams from Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic, Burnley FC and a host of other strong community clubs.  It is a challenge that the girls are all looking forward to as they continue their footballing journey and development.
